Great countryside view from the room with big windows. Loved the location just outside the touristic center. Friendly host who found me a corkscrew for my wine :)
It's not on the busiest road in town but sometimes loud motorcycles go by. A group sat smoking on the front stoop below, but if you close the windows it's not too much noise or smell.

The staff was gracious, there was a free parking. The host upon arrival was kind. The beds were very nice and the rooms were very clean. In the evening we visited Pizzeria Bitinia, set right by the hotel.

I stayed here for two nights as a treat to myself whilst walking a pilgrimage walk to Santiago de Compostela and having a rest day. It was easy to find, not affected by tourist noise and tastefully decorated. The room had a nice flat screen TV, great WiFi, plenty of storage and a comfortable double bed. The bathroom was modern and well-lit with a small bath. The owner was very helpful and accommodating to pilgrims and regular guests.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Great location, helpful staff, and free WiFi. The continental breakfast was a delightful feast for ants. Absolutely loved the challenge of finding nearby parking every day.
That saggy foam mattress was a real treat for my back. Should have brought a chiropractor along.

I stayed at this lovely little pension on my backpacking trip and it was a great find. The location is perfect, just minutes away from the medieval town center and the cave paintings museum. The room was clean and had a great countryside view from the big windows. The friendly owner even found me a corkscrew for my wine. a comfortable stay with convenient access to everything.
That there was no elevator in the pension.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk away from the old town. It is also close to an excellent restaurant where we had amazing meals. In the morning, we found a cozy cafe nearby for a delicious breakfast. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable, with a countryside view from the big windows.
Sometimes, there were loud motorcycles passing by on the nearby road.

The staff totally understood our vibe and suggested that we hit up Comillas Beach, which was only 20 km away. The apartment had everything we needed, including a kitchen and a balcony. The location was dope, with cool restaurants and the town center within walking distance. The staff were chill and always happy to help. It was the perfect base for our squad to explore Santillana del Mar.
The only thing that could have made our stay even more epic would have been some fun activities for young party-goers. Maybe some organized events or recommendations for local nightlife spots.

Hosteria Miguel Angel in Santillana del Mar is a amazing place to connect with nature. The rooms offer stunning views of the Cantabrian countryside, which made me feel like I was right in the heart of the natural beauty. The cozy seating area allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The room was well-equipped with a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, and a private bathroom. I also appreciated the in-room full-sized refrigerators/freezers and microwaves, which made it convenient for me to prepare my own meals. The complimentary toiletries and hair dryer in the bathroom were a nice touch. The 24-hour front desk was convenient for any assistance I needed. The only downside, personally, was the availability of cribs/infant beds as I was traveling with a baby. Nonetheless, I'm sure others would still find this feature useful.

Christmas at this hotel was a delightful experience. The location was ideal, with the town center within a short walk, and the famous museum just a quick drive away. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and provided a comfortable stay. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always available to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had.
One downside to our stay was the lack of on-site parking. We had to park in a field across the road, which was a bit inconvenient.
